Eligibility
Who can compete
- Ages 18–28: no older than 28 by September 30 and at least 18 by September 1 of the national year
- Live, work, or attend school full-time in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery or Philadelphia County
- U.S. citizen
- Never married or a parent
- Meet Miss America academic and character criteria
- Reasonably good health
- Able to meet the time commitment of local, state and national competition, including Miss Pennsylvania
- Never previously held the Miss Philadelphia title
